Some people have said they feel our courses are
expensive but if you look at the examples below we hope you will
agree we are actually great value for what is
QUALITY
tuition and service.
Compared with hourly lessons
Lets look at our longest
course and compare it with hourly lessons.
Quality hourly lessons usually
cost between £25 and £35 and a 40 hour intensive is equivalent
to 45 to 50 hourly lessons in achievement if not more!
So 45 times £25 works out to
be £1125, then add the cost of your practical test which is £62
and we have a total of £1187.
That means that just taking
the lowest price into consideration we are a staggering
£218 cheaper
at £969 without accommodation and just a mere £32 dearer if we
include our great accommodation!
Compared with other companies
It usually pays to shop around
but do check on what is included in the price as some other
companies do not include the test fee, accommodation or
one-to-one tuition, most even charge extra to pay by credit
card.
Be warned, we have heard so
many complaints about some of the other companies not even
booking tests for you then telling you on the last day you are
not up to test standard so will not allow you to take the test
Remember too it is not just
about cost but the quality of tuition, all our instructors are
fully qualified experienced instructors who
have been working in this area for several years.
In business you should not
knock the opposition but here are the examples of the top 5
companies (we are one of them) of a search I have carried out;
www.intensives.co.uk Here
the prices do not include accommodation and they will be dearer
once added.
www.drivingcourses4u.com Our
nearest rivals, they range from
£70 dearer
for the 12 hour course, up to a whopping
£270 dearer
for the 40 hour course! Then they charge extra to pay by credit
card!
www.learning2drive.co.uk Prices
do not include accommodation which is another £35 per night for
a similar standard making the 40 hour £106 dearer than us!
www.thelfactor.co.uk Shared
tuition so you will be 'driving' for just 3.5 hours per day and
no weekend driving. Do you want to spend 3.5 hours sitting in
the back of the car doing nothing!
Warning
We have heard so many
complaints about some of the other companies telling you on the
last day you are not up to test standard so will not allow you
to take the test. It turn out that they never actually booked a
test and then they make sure you will not be ready! As a result
they pocket the £62 test fee!
How can you avoid this?
Simple, we give you all the details at the time of booking so
you can check on the Driving Standards Agency website that the
test is booked before you pay us any money. If you decide to
book with another company then make sure you can check this
before paying them a deposit!
